Terbo finishes 12th in Great Lakes 50 at Raceway 7
A pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) events brought the Best Performance Motorsports team and Tyler Erb to Raceway 7 (Conneaut, Ohio) to kick off the weekend with Friday’s Great Lakes 50.
Buried in the opener via a sixth-place result in his heat race, Erb muscled forward four positions in the 50-lapper to finish 12th.
With the field inflated to 37 LOLMDS entries on Saturday at Pittsburgh’s Pa. Motor Speedway (Pittsburgh, Pa.) for the 35th annual Pittsburgher, Tyler stormed into the $30,000-to-win main event with a sixth-to-third run in his heat. Starting in 12th, Erb rebounded to a 15th-place finish after bringing out a lap-37 caution.
Tyler sits in eighth in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
