In a stout field of 81 World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series entries, Erb’s sixth-fastest lap in his time trial group positioned him on the second run for his preliminary feature. Battling for a $3,000 payday, Tyler chase pole-starting Kyle Larson to the checkers in the 25-lapper.
Receiving the fifth-starting position for the Saturday’s $50,000-to-win A-Main via the redraw, Tyler posted a fourth-place finish in the 100-lap affair. He followed Brandon Sheppard, Mike Marlar, and Tanner English across the line with Ryan Gustin coming in fifth.
