Tyler Erb finishes sixth Lucas Oil season opener at All-Tech

After Mother Nature wiped out the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) season opener on Friday, Tyler Erb returned to All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) on Saturday afternoon for the General Tire Winter Nationals. Drawing 57 cars, Erb followed up the second fastest lap overall in time trials behind Mike Marlar with a 10-lap heat race victory. Earning the pole position for the $15,000-to-win A-Main, Tyler set the pace for the first 13 circuits until a charging Kyle Larson snuck by. He ran in a podium spot for the next 30 circuits until the final three laps when he slipped back to sixth when the checkered flag flew. (Heath Lawson photo)

Tyler is currently tied for fourth in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
