September 26, 2020 - Erb bags a pair of Top-10 finishes in Jackson 100 weekend
1On Thursday evening Tyler Erb was one of 22 Late Models on hand at Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) for the $5,000 top prize. Starting the night off with a heat race victory, Erb locked into the third-starting position for the main event. After slipping back to fifth early in the race, Tyler gained two spots after a late-race caution to come home third behind Bobby Pierce and Josh Rice with Trevor Landrum and Zack Dohm rounding out the Top-5.

1The following night at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned doubleheader, Tyler edged his way into the main event with the third and final transfer spot in his heat race. 1On Saturday afternoon in a field of 60 cars for the Jackson 100, Erb came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fourth place finish, transferring him into the B-Main. Holding his spot for all 12 laps to finish second behind Steve Casebolt, Tyler locked into the 24th-starting position for the $15,000-to-win finale. Wheeling his way into the Top-10, Tyler Erb passed 17 cars in the 100-lapper to score a seventh place finish.

September 19, 2020 - Tyler Erb rebounds to finish 10th in I-80 Nationals finale
1Tyler Erb returned with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Thursday evening at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) for the event replacing the Knoxville Nationals due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Drawing 46 cars for the I-80 Nationals, Erb followed up a sixth place finish in his heat with a runner-up spot in his B-Main behind Billy Moyer Jr. With $7,000 on the line in the opening night feature, Tyler gained two spots in the 30-lapper to place 20th.

On Friday afternoon for another $7,000-to-win preliminary feature, Tyler came in 12th fastest in his group before picking up a 10-lap heat race victory. Rolling off 12th for the main event, Erb faded back to a 22nd place outing in the 30-lap affair.

September 12, 2020 - Erb lands Top-5 finish in Harold Hardgrove Memorial at LCS
1Saturday night found Tyler Erb and Best Performance Motorsports in action at Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Ky.) for the Schaeffer’s Iron-Man Series-sanctioned Harold Hardgrove Memorial. In a field of 25 cars, Erb laid down the second fastest time in his group behind Dustin Linville before picking up a heat race victory. Starting the $10,022-to-win A-Main in third, Tyler faded two spots in the 50-lapper to place fifth behind Michael Chilton, Victor Lee, Skylar Marlar, and Dustin Linville.

September 6, 2020 - Sixth place finish in John Bradshaw Memorial at Ponderosa
1Tyler Erb and Best Performance Motorsports invaded Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) on Friday night for the 16th annual John Bradshaw Memorial. Drawing 30 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Tyler followed up the second fastest time in his qualifying group behind Jonathan Davenport with a third place finish in his heat. 1The following night at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) for the Bob Miller Memorial River Days Rumble 50, Erb posted a runner-up finish in his heat behind Jimmy Owens, which positioned him sixth on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $12,000 on the line, Tyler was an early retiree from the 50-lapper on the ninth lap with motor issues.

1On Sunday afternoon, Tyler stopped at Beckley Motorsports Park (Beckley, W.Va.) for the Beckley USA 100. Earning the third-starting position for the $15,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events, Erb wrestled way the top spot from Chase Junghans on lap 35 and held the lead for the next 49 circuits. With Zack Dohm sneaking past on lap 84, Tyler put heavy pressure on Dohm in the final 10 laps but came up short to finish behind Dohm, with Ryan Montgomery, Henry Hornsby III, and Tanner English completing the Top-5 finishers.
