May 27, 2020 - Runner-up Spot in East Bay Nationals Finale
1 On Monday night for the second half of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) Reopening Tour, Tyler Erb headed to East Bay Raceway Park (Tampa, Fla.) for the Geico East Bay Nationals. Following the eighth fastest lap in his time trial group, Erb notched a second place finish in his heat behind Brandon Overton. With $7,000 on the line in the feature, Tyler ran in Top-5 early before getting penalized on lap 38 after race officials deemed he jumped the restart. Wheeling his way back into the Top-5 in the final two circuits, Erb scored a fifth place finish behind Jonathan Davenport, Shane Clanton, Tim McCreadie, and Jimmy Owens.

The following night, Tyler edged his way into the $7,000-to-win A-Main with a third place finish in his heat. Suffering a flat right-rear tire on lap 22, Erb salvaged a 22nd place outing in the 40-lap affair.

1On Wednesday evening to wrap up the Geico East Bay Nationals, Erb laid down the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group before capturing a 10-lap heat race victory. Earning the third-starting position for the $7,000-to-win finale, Tyler took command of the lead early but bounced back to a second following a restart on the fifth lap. After wrestling the top spot away on the next lap, Erb held the lead until Mason Zeigler closed in again on lap 25. With the pair taking part in a heated battle in the closing laps, Tyler Erb came up short on the final lap to place second behind Brandon Overton with Mason Zeigler, Jimmy Owens, and Devin Moran rounding out the Top-5. May 21, 2020 - Tyler Erb Lands Podium Finish in Second Round of Reopening Tour
1Tyler Erb was one of 43 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.) on Tuesday evening for the Reopening Tour. With the field split into two separate groups for qualifying, Tyler laid down the sixth fastest time in his group before placing third in his heat. Starting the $7,000-to-win A-Main in 13th, Erb advanced forward six spots in the 40-lapper to register a seventh place finish.

1For the second round of the Optima Batteries Golden Isles Nationals on Wednesday night, Erb secured his spot into the main event with a second place finish in his heat behind Jimmy Owens. With Devin Moran setting the pace early, Tyler rocketed into the Top-5 by the third lap and slid ahead of Tyler Bruening a few laps later for fourth. After major contact between the front runners on lap 30, Erb charged up to a second place finish behind Kyle Bronson with Jimmy Owens, Shane Clanton, and Tim McCreadie rounding out the Top-5. Closing out the Golden Isles Nationals on Thursday evening, Tyler edged his way into the $7,000-to-win finale with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat. Rolling off 15th, Erb salvaged a 17th place outing from the tail after getting caught in a tangle on the tenth lap.

May 15, 2020 - Tyler Erb Attends Magnolia Mayhem 40 at Magnolia
1After continuous rain and a wet forecast shifted the event back a day, Tyler Erb headed to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Friday evening for the Magnolia Mayhem 40. Following a sixth place finish in his heat race, Erb scored a second place finish in his B-Main behind Jonathan Davenport. Earning the 20th-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Tyler passed five cars in the 40-lapper to place 15th.

May 9, 2020 - Seventh Place Finish in DirtonDirt Shootout at I-55
1Saturday night found Tyler Erb in action at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Mo.) piloting his Best Performance Motorsports No. 1 Late Model for the Karl Chevrolet 50. In a stout field of 60 cars, Tyler laid down the 13th fastest time in his qualifying group before placing third in his heat race. May 2, 2020 - Erb Records a Trio of Top 10 Finishes in Carolina Tripleheader
1With several precautionary measures in place to bring the event to fruition during the Covid-19 pandemic, Tyler Erb invaded Tri-County (NC) Racetrack on Thursday night for the Schaeffer Oil Tarheel Invitational. With 25 cars on hand, Erb followed up the 12th fastest lap in time trials with a second place finish in his heat behind Shanon Buckingham. Starting the $4,000-to-win A-Main in 10th, Tyler improved four spots to register a sixth place finish.

1The following night at Lancaster (SC) Speedway for the Lancaster Lidlifter, Tyler secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a second place finish in his heat behind Chris Madden. Coming one spot shy of a Top-5 finish in the feature, Erb improved seven positions in the 40-lap affair to place sixth.

1On Saturday evening at Cherokee (SC) Speedway for the inaugural Palmetto Invitational, Erb posted a sixth place finish in his heat before coming in second in his B-Main behind Michael Brown. With $10,000 on the line in the feature, Tyler Erb passed 11 cars in the 60-lapper to come home ninth.
