Drawing a stout field of 62 cars for the six-day event, Tyler followed up the fourth fastest lap in his time trial group with the 3rd and final transfer spot in his heat race. 1On Tuesday afternoon, Erb started the night off with a heat race victory which positioned him fourth on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $5,000 on the line, Tyler suffered a flat tire on lap 24 that dropped him back to a 21st place outing.

The following night, Tyler came in 6th in his heat, transferring him into the B-Main. For the fourth round on Thursday evening, Erb followed up the fifth fastest lap in his time trial group with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Kyle Bronson. After visiting the hot pit during the middle stages of the 40-lapper, Tyler battled back to a place 10th.
