August 24, 2019 - Top 5 Finish in Dirt Million Prelim at Mansfield
1Tyler Erb followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to Mansfield Motor Speedway (Mansfield, Ohio) on Thursday night for the second annual Dirt Million. Drawing 56 cars, Tyler secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Rolling off 8th, Erb held his spot for all 30-laps recording an 8th place finish.

1Returning on Friday afternoon, Erb recorded the fastest lap overall in his time trial group before placing 2nd in his heat behind Chase Junghans. Earning the 6th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature, Tyler jumped up one spot to place 5th behind Mike Marlar, Chase Junghans, Michael Norris, and Jonathan Davenport. 1On Saturday evening, Tyler secured his spot into the $101,626-to-win Dirt Million with a 10-lap heat race victory. Starting in 10th, Tyler Erb improved two spots in the 100-lap affair reeling in an 8th place finish.

August 17, 2019 - Erb Suffers Motor Issues in Topless 100 Prelim, 13th Place Finish in Finale
1On Thursday evening Tyler Erb made the trek to Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) kicking off the Topless 100. With 46 cars on hand for the event co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series, Erb laid down the second fastest lap in his group behind Mike Marlar before placing 2nd in his heat behind Brandon Overton. Starting the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature in 7th, Tyler was running in 5th when he suffered engine issues during a caution that ended his night early.

Returning on Saturday rolling off on the front row of his B-Main, Erb soared to a 12-lap consolation victory which locked his spot into the $40,000-to-win Topless 100. Rolling off 18th, Tyler Erb gained five spots in the 100-lap affair reeling in a 13th place finish.

August 10, 2019 - Top 10 Finish in North/South Shootout
1Thursday night brought 52 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for the North/South Shootout. Following a 6th place finish in his heat, Tyler came one spot short of a transfer position in his B-Main with 3rd place finish. Relying on a provisional into the opening night feature, Erb improved 14 spots reeling in a 9th place finish.

Returning on Friday afternoon for a pair of heat races, Erb recorded a 4th and 3rd place finish sitting him 12th overall in passing points which locked him into Saturday’s North/South 100.

Rolling off 12th for the $50,000-to-win finale, Tyler dropped six spots in the 100-lapper registering an 18th place outing.

August 3, 2019 - 6th Place Finish in USA Nationals Prelim
1Tyler Erb returned to action on Thursday night at Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin) for the 32nd annual USA Nationals. In a field of 45 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Erb recorded a 3rd place finish in his heat which positioned him 12th on the starting grid of the $6,000-to-win preliminary feature. 1On Friday night for two rounds of heat races, Erb passed five cars in his first heat to place 3rd. Starting on the front row of his second heat, Tyler captured a 12-lap victory which positioned him fourth overall in passing points. Earning a spot into the Pole Dash, Tyler Erb streaked to an 8-lap victory which locked him on the pole for Saturday’s main event.

With $50,000 on the line, Tyler slipped over the cushion on the opening lap that dropped him back to 8th. He was running in the Top 10 for the majority of the race until contact with two-to-go dropped him back to a 16th place outing.
