August 25, 2018 - Erb Lands 5th Place Finish in Dirt Million Prelim; 12th in Saturday's Finale
1Tyler Erb was one of 77 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries signed in at Mansfield Motor Speedway (Mansfield, Ohio) on Friday night for the inaugural Dirt Million. Following the fifth fastest time in his qualifying group, Erb cruised to an 8-lap heat race victory positioning him 2nd on the starting grid for his $10,000-to-win preliminary feature. 1Returning on Saturday, Tyler started the night off with a heat race victory locking him into the 13th-starting position for the $202,940-to-win finale. After getting spun around to bring out a caution on lap 81, Erb reeled in a 12th place finish in the remaining 19 circuits.

August 19, 2018 - Top 5 Finish at Port Royal Speedway
1On Thursday night Tyler Erb returned with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series at Georgetown Speedway (Georgetown, Delaware) for the Fulton Bank 40. In a field of 25 cars, Erb held his spot in his 10-lap heat race to place 6th. Starting the feature in 18th, Tyler gained two spots in the 40-lapper to place 16th.

1With weather washing out Friday’s program at Williams Grove Speedway (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania), Tyler traveled to Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pennsylvania) on Saturday night for the $10,000 top prize. Following the tenth fastest time in his qualifying group, Erb scored a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Ross Robinson earning him the 6th-starting position for the A-Main. The following night at Eriez Speedway (Erie, Pennsylvania), Tyler laid down the second fastest time in his group before charging to a 10-lap heat race victory. Rolling off 3rd, Tyler Erb dropped eight spots in the 50-lap affair registering an 11th place finish.

August 11, 2018 - Erb Bags 2nd Place Finish in Rain-Shortened Ralph Latham Memorial at Florence Speedway
1On Wednesday night Tyler Erb invaded Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Ralph Latham Memorial. With a stout field of 54 cars on hand, Tyler laid down the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group before placing 2nd in his heat behind Nick Hoffman. Earning the 7th-starting position for the $12,000-to-win A-Main, Erb had worked his way up to 2nd when steady rained rolled in forcing officials to call the race completed on lap-22. Trailing Hudson O’Neal to the checkers, Tyler was followed to the line by Gregg Satterlee, Bobby Pierce, and Josh Richards.

The following night for two rounds of heat races, Tyler followed up a 8th place finish in his first heat with a 4th place finish in his second heat. Transferring into the B-Main on Saturday for another shot at the $50,000-to-win North-South 100, Tyler Erb came up two spots short of a transfer position with a 4th place finish.

August 4, 2018 - Podium Finish With World of Outlaws at Plymouth; 13th Place Finish in USA Nationals at Cedar Lake
1 Tyler Erb followed the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series to Plymouth Dirt Track (Plymouth, Wisconsin) on Monday night for the $10,000 top prize. In a field of 36 cars, Tyler followed up the fastest time in his qualifying group with a 10-lap heat race win. Earning the pole position for the feature, Erb led the first 5 circuits before fading two spots to place 3rd behind Brandon Sheppard and Devin Moran with Chris Madden and Brian Shirley completing the Top-5 finishers. 1The following night at Shawano Speedway (Shawano, Wisconsin) for the Sun Drop Shootout, Tyler scored a 4th place finish in his heat positioning him 12th on the starting grid for the feature. Breaking into the Top-10, Tyler gained two spots in the 50-lapper scoring a 10th place outing.

On Thursday night the World of Outlaws returned to action at Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin) for the 31st annual USA Nationals. Drawing a stout field of 45 Super Late Models for the three-day event, Erb came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the $6,000-to-win preliminary feature, Tyler slipped back to a 7th place outing forcing him to rely on a provisional into the show. Rolling off 23rd, Tyler Erb passed eight cars in the 40-lapper to place 15th.
