October 28, 2017 - Erb Places 15th in Fall Classic at Whynot
1Friday night brought Tyler Erb to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) for the 23rd annual Coors Light Fall Classic. Drawing 42 Super Late Models for the unsanctioned weekend, Erb timed in eighth fastest in his qualifying group before landing a 2nd place finish in his heat behind David Breazeale. Rolling off 7th for the $15,000-to-win A-Main, Tyler slipped back to a 15th place outing after getting caught in a tangle with another competitor in the final 30 circuits.

October 21, 2017 - Tyler Erb Attends DTWC at Portsmouth Raceway Park
1Tyler Erb made the trek to Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) on Friday night for the 37th annual Rhino Ag Dirt Track World Championship. With 72 Super Late Models on hand for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned weekend, Erb recorded a pair of 5th place finishes in his heats transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 2 into the $100,000-to-win A-Main, Tyler came up short with a 6th place outing. October 13, 2017 - Erb Lands 6th Place Finish With World of Outlaws
1On Friday night the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series returned to action at the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway (Joliet, Illinois) for the two-day Chi-Town Showdown. Losing three spots in his heat race, Erb posted a 5th place finish after making contact with another competitor while batting for a transfer spot. After persistent rain in the area and an unfavorable forecast, World of Outlaws officials decided to cancel Saturday night’s portion of the Chi-Town Showdown.

October 7, 2017 - Third Straight Runner-up Finish in Gumbo Nationals
1Kicking off the 11th annual Gumbo Nationals, Tyler Erb made the trek to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Friday night for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series sanctioned weekend. Starting the night off with a heat race victory, Erb earned the 2nd-starting position for the feature on Saturday night alongside Timothy Culp. After comfortably leading the field for the first 65 laps, Tyler slipped back to 2nd place finish behind Brian Rickman after bobbling while trying to navigate on the high-side.
