June 25th, 2016 - Erb Battles in Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway
After a few weeks off, the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series returned to action on Tuesday night heading east for the Finger Lakes 40 at Weedsport Speedway (Weedsport, New York). With twenty-seven cars on hand, Tyler Erb edged his way into the $8,000-to-win A-Main with a 6th place outing in his heat race. Starting in 18th for the 40-lap feature, Erb jumped up one position registering a 17th place finish.

With the weather raining out all of the events scheduled on Thursday night, Tyler Erb was one of fifty Super Late Models signed in at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pennsylvania) on Friday night for the 10th Annual Firecracker 100. Sending the top three out of the heats, Erb placed 5th transferring him into the B-Main. Starting on the front row, Tyler stormed to consolation win giving him a 20th place starting spot for the feature. On Saturday afternoon Tyler recorded a 7th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main again. Transferring the top four into the show, Erb logged a 7th place outing bringing an early end to his second session.

Later that night, Tyler was slated to on the start high-side of 4th row for his heat. Needing a 4th place finish or better to make the $30,000-to-win Firecracker 100, Erb retired a 11th place finish. Coming from the tail of the field in his B-Main, Tyler charged eight positions but came up two spots short of a transfer spot into the A-Main.  Earning a 4th place starting spot for the Uncle Sam non-qualifier feature, Tyler Erb registered a 8th place finish in the event.
