May 27, 2017 - Top 5 Finish at Wayne County Speedway
1Tyler Erb kicked off the Memorial Day Weekend on Friday night at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned opener. Drawing 33 cars for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Tyler locked his spot into the feature with a 2nd place finish behind Devin Moran in his heat race. Making hard contact with another competitor on lap 34 of the feature, Erb suffered a flat-tire sending him pitside. After rejoining the tail of the field, Tyler rallied back to a 16th place finish.

1Saturday night Tyler was one of 31 Super Late Models signed in at NAPA Wayne County Speedway (Orrville, Ohio) for the $12,000 top prize. Gaining three spots in his heat race, Erb scored a 3rd place finish positioning him 7th on the starting grid for the feature. Breaking into the Top 5, Tyler Erb passed three cars in the 50-lapper to place 4th behind Brandon Sheppard, Devin Moran, and Chris Madden with Shane Clanton coming in 5th.

Sunday night’s World of Outlaws sanctioned contest at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) was cancelled due to the weather.

May 14, 2017 - Pair of Top 10 Finishes in WoO Action in Tennessee
1Behind the wheel of the First Class Septic #91 Super Late Model, Tyler Erb traveled to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) on Saturday for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned contest. With 25 cars on hand for the Mountain Outlaw 50, Erb recorded a 6th place finish in his heat race positioning him 16th on the starting rundown for the opening night A-Main. Breaking into the Top 10, Tyler passed seven cars in the 50-lapper registering a 9th place finish.

1On Sunday Erb headed to Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) for the event rescheduled from Friday evening. Following the fastest time overall in qualifying, Erb went to capture a heat race win locking him into the 3rd-starting spot for the A-Main. May 6, 2017 - Runner-up Finish in Tar Heel 50 at Fayetteville; Erb Takes Over Second in World of Outlaws Point Standings
1On Friday night Tyler Erb returned with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. In a field of 31 cars, Erb slipped back to the nineteenth fastest time in qualifying but secured his spot into the feature with a 6th place finish in his heat race. Rolling off 16th for the A-Main, Tyler charged through the field eight positions to place 8th.

1The following night Erb headed to Fayetteville Motor Speedway (Fayetteville, North Carolina) for the Tar Heel 50. Coming in fifth fastest in qualifying, Erb went on to place 2nd in his heat behind Frank Heckenast Jr. positioning him 2nd on the starting grid for the feature. Holding his spot for all 50-laps, Tyler Erb notched a 2nd place finish behind Brandon Sheppard with Rick Eckert, Chris Madden, and Donald Bradsher completing the Top 5 finishers. (Seth Stone photo)
