June 25, 2017 - Erb Wins in Hell Tour Debut at Tri-State Speedway
1Piloting the Day Motorsports #91 Super Late Model, Tyler Erb visited McKean County Raceway (East Smethport, Pennsylvania) on Tuesday for the Hamlin Lake 50. 1After Mother Nature reduced the three-day event to a one-day show, Tyler Erb was one of 45 Super Late Models signed in at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pennsylvania) on Saturday for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned program. Running in a preliminary event before the $30,000-to-win finale, Erb followed up the fifth fastest time in his qualifying group with a 10-lap heat race win. Rolling off 6th for the $6,000-to-win preliminary feature, Tyler slipped up two spots to place 8th.

Later on Saturday night for the Firecracker 100, Tyler got sideways in his heat race sending him back to a 6th place finish, two spots short of a transfer positon. Needing a 3rd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the feature, Erb grabbed the 3rd and final transfer position earning him the 21st-starting positon for the finale. With $30,000 on the line, Tyler Erb improved four spots reeling in a 17th place outing.

1On Sunday Erb stopped at Tri-State Speedway (Haubstadt, Indiana) for the 11th round of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour. With 31 Super Late Models on hand, Tyler timed in fastest overall in qualifying before charging to a heat race victory. Earning the pole position for the feature, Erb never let go of the top spot leading all 40-laps en route to his third victory of the season and a $5,000 payday. June 17, 2017 - Runner-up Finish in WoO Event in Canada
1Tyler Erb headed north of the border on Saturday night for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned contest at Brighton Speedway (Brighton, Ontario). With 25 Super Late Models on hand for the Mud Slingin’ 50, Tyler scored a runner-up finish behind Chub Frank in his heat race locking him into the 2nd-starting position for the A-Main. With $10,000 on the line, Erb held his spot for the entire distance of the 50-lapper registering a 2nd place finish behind Brandon Sheppard with Morgan Bagley, Devin Moran, and Rick Eckert completing the Top 5 finishers.

Sunday night’s WoO event at Cornwall Motor Speedway (Cornwall, Ontario) was cancelled due to the weather.

June 10, 2017 - Tyler Erb Makes First Career Dirt Late Model Dream
1In attendance for the richest Super Late Model event of the season, Tyler Erb was one of 79 Super Late Models signed in at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday evening for the 23rd annual Dirt Late Model Dream. Passing two cars in his 10-lap heat race, Tyler logged a 7th place finish giving him one last chance at making the opening night preliminary feature with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place in the Top 4 to make the UMP DIRTcar sanctioned A-Main, Erb slipped back to a 9th place outing.

The following night for the final round of preliminary features, Tyler followed up the thirteenth fastest time overall in qualifying with a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Starting in 11th for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Erb slipped back to a 24th place outing in the 25-lap affair.

1On Saturday starting deep in his heat race, Erb logged a 6th place finish sending him into the B-Main for one last shot at the 23rd annual Dirt Late Model Dream. Transferring the Top 4, Tyler scored a 3rd place spot locking him into the 25th-starting spot for the $100,000-to-win finale. Starting in his first career Dream, Tyler Erb made hard contact with the wall on lap 43, sending him pitside. June 3, 2017 - Erb Lands Runner-up Finish in Billy Clanton Classic at Senoia
1On Friday night Tyler Erb picked back up with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series for the $10,000-to-win A-Main at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee). Jumping up two spots in his heat race, Tyler scored a 3rd place finish positioning him 8th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Holding his spot for all 50-laps, Erb registered an 8th place finish.

Saturday night brought 29 World of Outlaws competitors to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) for the 3rd annual Billy Clanton Classic. After laying down the sixth fastest time in qualifying, Erb charged to a heat race win locking him into the 2nd-starting spot for the A-Main. Hanging on to a podium finish, Tyler Erb notched a runner-up finish behind Brandon Sheppard with Eric Wells, Shane Clanton, and Chris Madden rounding out the Top 5.
