July 29, 2017 - Tyler Erb Follows World of Outlaws to Illinois
1Tyler Erb was back with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series on Wednesday night for the $8,000 top prize at Fayette County Speedway (Brownstown, Illinois). After coming in ninth fastest in qualifying, Erb recorded a 3rd place finish in his heat race positioning him 9th on the starting grid for the feature. Gaining two positions, Tyler scored a 7th place finish in the 40-lap A-Main.

1Friday night brought Erb to Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) for the two-day 28th annual Prairie Dirt Classic. Drawing a stout field of 65 World of Outlaws entries, Erb laid down the tenth fastest time in his qualifying group earning him the 5th-starting position for the opening night preliminary feature. Slated to roll off deep in his B-Main on Saturday night, Erb scratched from the 15-lap consolation event and used a provisional into the $30,000-to-win A-Main. After bringing out a caution on lap 72 for a flat right-front tire, Erb came to halt again on lap 76 after losing his right-rear wheel.  Joining the field from the back, Tyler Erb worked his way up to a 21st place outing in the remaining distance of the 100-lapper.

July 15, 2017 - Erb Attends Rockabilly 45 at I-30 Speedway
1On Wednesday night Tyler Erb was back in the state of Minnesota for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series event at Ogilvie Raceway (Ogilvie, Minnesota). After timing in seventh fastest in qualifying, Erb secured his spot into the $8,000-to-win A-Main with a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Moving up one spot in the 40-lap affair, Tyler reeled in a 6th place outing.

Thursday night brought 33 World of Outlaws competitors to Hibbing Raceway (Hibbing, Minnesota) for the $8,000 top prize. Following the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group, Erb landed a runner-up finish behind Chad Simpson locking him into the 7th-starting position for the feature. Breaking into the Top 5, Tyler improved two spots posting a 5th place finish behind Brandon Sheppard, Chub Frank, Mike Marlar, and Shane Clanton.

1Closing out the three-day stint with the World of Outlaws, Erb stopped at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) on Friday for the Acme Tools 50. Jumping up one spot in his heat race, Tyler cruised to a 10-lap heat race win positioning him 2nd on the starting grid for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. 1On Saturday Tyler made the trek to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) competing in the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series sanctioned Rockabilly 45. With 26 Super Late Models signed in, Erb secured his spot into the show with a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Starting in 9th, Tyler improved one spot in the 45-lap affair posting an 8th place finish.

July 8, 2017 - Top 10 in Gopher 50 at Deer Creek Speedway
1Returning with the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour, Tyler Erb visited Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois) on Friday night for the 19th round of the tour. Moving up one spot in his heat race, Tyler scored a 3rd place finish earning him the 10th-starting position for the feature. With $10,000 on the line, Erb slipped back to a 22nd place outing in the 50-lapper.

1On Saturday night Erb made the trek to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota) for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned Bigelow Homes Gopher 50. In a field of 36 cars, Tyler followed up the fastest time overall in qualifying with a 2nd place finish behind Chris Madden in his heat race. Rolling off 5th for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Tyler Erb fell five spots to place 10th.

July 7, 2017 - Tyler Erb Links Sponsorship Deal With New Point Lighting

July 4, 2017 - Erb Wraps Up Fouth of July Weekend at Fayette County Speedway
1Monday night saw Erb stop at Quincy Raceway (Quincy, Illinois) for another chance a $5,000 Hell Tour payday. In a field of 34 cars, Tyler timed in second fastest in his qualifying group before charging to a 10-lap heat race victory. After starting the feature in 4th, Erb brought a caution on lap 15 sending him to tail of the field. Battling from the back of the pack, Tyler moved up to a 17th place outing.

1On Tuesday night for the Fourth of July special, Erb visited Fayette County Speedway (Brownstown, Illinois) for the 17th round of the Summer Nationals Hell Tour. Following the second fastest time in his group behind Shannon Babb, Tyler captured a heat race win positioning him 3rd on the starting grid for the feature. July 2, 2017 - Tyler Erb Returns With Hell Tour in Land of Lincoln
1On Wednesday night Tyler Erb followed the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series to the Land of Lincoln for the FVP Outlaw Clay Classic at the Dirt Oval Route 66 Raceway (Joliet, Illinois). In a field of 26 cars, Tyler slipped back to a 7th place outing locking him into the 20th-starting spot for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. As the Late Model feature began to take the track, Mother Nature rolled in forcing officials to postpone the feature to October 13th.

1The following the night brought Erb to Plymouth Speedway (Plymouth, Indiana) for the 13th round of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour. After timing in third fastest in his qualifying group, Tyler posted a runner-up finish behind Billy Moyer in his heat race positioning him 4th on the starting grid for the feature. With $5,000 on the line, Erb held his position for the entire distance of the A-Main registering a 4th place finish behind Brandon Sheppard, Scott Bloomquist, and Brian Shirley with Billy Moyer coming in 5th. 1Tyler returned to action on Saturday after wet conditions cancelled the weekend opener at Terra Haute Action Track (Terra Haute, Indiana) on Friday night. With 41 Super Late Models signed in for the event sanctioned by both the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series and the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour, Erb secured his spot into the A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Rick Eckert. Rolling off 9th for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Tyler worked in his way into the Top 5 early and challenged for a podium spot by midway point of the feature. Getting caught behind a wreck on lap 42, Erb was towed pitside while being credited with a 23rd place outing.

1On Sunday Tyler traveled to Lincoln Speedway (Lincoln, Illinois) for the 15th round of the Hell Tour. Following the fastest time in his qualifying group, Erb held on to a 3rd place finish after getting in a small encounter on the opening lap. Starting in 8th for the $5,000-to-win feature, Tyler worked way up to a 5th place finish behind Brandon Sheppard, Kyle Bronson, Chub Frank, and Bobby Pierce.
