In a field of 43 Super Late Models, Tyler qualified second fastest in his group before charging to a heat race victory. Receiving the 3rd-starting position for the feature after the redraw, Erb held his spot for all 30-laps notching a 3rd place finish behind Chris Madden and Brian Shirley with Shane Clanton and Dennis Erb Jr. completing the Top 5 finishers.

1After losing Wednesday and Thursday's program to bad weather, Tyler Erb returned to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) on Friday for the final two DIRTcar Nationals events. With 38 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series entries signed in, Tyler followed up the second fastest time in his qualifying group with an 8-lap heat race victory. Receiving the 3rd-starting position for the feature after the redraw, Erb ran out of tear-offs before the halfway point of the 50-lapper. Bringing out a caution on lap 23 to visit the infield and exchange helmets due to the dense fog, race officials determined it would be best to call the race after the field of competitors advised on the decision.

1Wrapping up the 46th annual DIRTcar Nationals on Saturday, Tyler locked his spot into the $10,000-to-win finale with a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Losing three spots in the 40-lap affair, Erb slipped back to a 15th place outing.

Tyler sits in fourth in the World of Outlaws point standings. For more results from these events, please visit www.DIRTcarUMP.com and www.WoOLMS.com.
