August 27, 2017 - Tyler Erb Follows World of Outlaws to Wolverine State
1Tyler Erb made the trek to Merritt Speedway (Merritt, Michigan) on Saturday night for the two-day Great Lakes Shootout. With 33 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series entries on hand, Tyler slipped back to a 7th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 3 into the show, Erb came up one spot short with a 4th place outing forcing him to rely on a provisional into the show. Rolling off 23rd, Tyler advanced through the field 11 spots to place 12th.

The following night for the $15,000-to-win A-Main, Erb locked his spot into the feature with a 5th place finish in his heat. Starting in 15th, Tyler gained three positions in the 75-lap affair logging a 12th place outing.

August 20, 2017 - 7th Place Finish in Fulton Bank 40 at Georgetown Speedway
1Thursday night found Tyler Erb return with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series at Georgetown Speedway (Georgetown, Delaware) for Fulton Bank 40. After timing in seventh fastest in a field of 28 cars, Erb scored a 3rd place finish in his heat race locking him into the 7th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. 1Following a scheduled off-day on Friday night, Erb traveled to Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pennsylvania) on Saturday for the $10,000 top prize. Gaining one spot in his heat race, Tyler captured a heat race win earning him the pole position for the A-Main. After running in a podium spot, Erb suffered a flat tire on lap 26 that dropped him back to a 14th place finish.

1Sunday night brought Tyler and 24 World of Outlaws competitors to Eriez Speedway (Erie, Pennsylvania). Following the fourth fastest time overall in qualifying, Erb posted a 4th place finish in his heat race positioning him 10th on the starting grid for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. August 12, 2017 - Tyler Erb Visits Florence Speedway for North-South Weekend
1Behind the wheel of the First Class Septic #91 Super Late Model, Tyler Erb made the trip to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) on Thursday evening for the North-South Shootout. With 67 Super Late Models on hand for the Lucas Oil Late Model Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned weekend, Erb came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat race with a 4th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature, Tyler cruised to a 12-lap consolation win positioning him 19th on the starting grid for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Losing seven spots in the 50-lapper, Erb slipped back to a 26th place outing.

The following night for two rounds of heat races, Erb recorded an 8th place finish in his first heat before coming in 7th in the FK Rod Ends second heat. Transferring into the B-Main on Saturday for one final shot at the $50,000-to-win North-South 100, Tyler dropped back to a 14th place outing in the 15-lap consolation event bringing an early end to his weekend.

August 5, 2017 - Top 5 Finish With Dirt Kings Tour at Plymouth
1On Monday evening Tyler Erb stopped at Plymouth Dirt Track (Plymouth, Wisconsin) competing with the DiscountShopTowels.com Dirt Kings Tour. Earning the 15th-starting position for the $4,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events, Tyler advanced through the field ten positions in the 50-lap affair to place 5th behind Jimmy Mars, Brian Shirley, Jason Feger, and Nick Anvelink. He was honored as the Allstar Performance Hard Charger after the race was completed.

1Tuesday night found Erb return with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Models Series at Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway (Oshkosh, Wisconsin). Following the third fastest time in his group, Erb landed a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Chris Madden locking him into the 8th-starting position for the feature. With $10,000 on the line, Tyler slipped back to a 16th place outing.

The following night Tyler was one of 30 Super Late Models on hand at Shawano Speedway (Shawano, Wisconsin) for the World of Outlaws sanctioned Sun Drop Shootout. Suffering engine trouble in his time trial session that sent him back to the 24th fastest qualifying time in his group, Erb was forced to pull out his secondary car for his heat race. Gaining one spot in his heat, Tyler logged a 7th place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 4 into the show, Tyler Erb landed a 2nd place finish behind Nick Anvelink positioning him 20th on the starting grid for feature. Coming two spots shy of a Top 10 finish, Tyler advanced through the field eight positions to place 12th.

1After losing the opening night of the 30th annual USA Nationals on Thursday, Tyler Erb returned to Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin) on Friday night for the $6,000-to-win preliminary feature. Losing one spot in his heat race, Erb recorded a 3rd place finish earning him the 11th-starting spot for the A-Main. Dropping four positions in the 30-lapper, Tyler logged a 15th place finish. 1Later on Friday evening, Erb posted a 5th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main on Saturday night. Starting on the pole, Tyler went on to place 2nd behind Kyle Bronson positioning him 19th on the starting grid for the main event. With $50,000 on the line, Erb was an early retiree from the 100-lap affair after getting into a tangle on lap 39.  He was credited with a 24th place outing.
