July 30th, 2016 - Erb Heads to Fairbury Speedway for Prairie Dirt Classic
1On Thursday night Tyler Erb made the trek to Quincy Raceway (Quincy, Illinois) for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned program. With 26 cars signed in for the Workforce 40, Erb secured his spot into the show with a 5th place finish in his heat. Set to start 13th for the $8,000-to-win A-Main, Tyler gained six positions in the 40-lap A-Main recording a 7th place finish.

The following night brought the WoO followers to Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) for the two-day 27th Annual Prairie Dirt Classic. In a stout field of 59 Super Late Model, Tyler fell back to an 8th place finish in his 15-lap heat race sending him into the B-Main on Saturday night. Transferring only the winner into the $27,000-to-win A-Main, Erb logged a 7th place outing earning him a spot into the Prairie Dirt Shootout Non-Qualifiers Race. Getting into another competitor late in 25-lapper, Erb’s night was over while being credited with a 13th place finish.

July 23rd, 2016 - Tyler Erb Competes in Silver Dollar Nationals
1With the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series off, Tyler Erb headed to I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Nebraska) on Friday night for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Silver Dollar Nationals. Drawing fifty-eight cars for the two-day event, Erb placed 5th in his first round of heat racing action. Falling back to a 5th place finish in his second heat, Tyler transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the main event. Transferring the top three, Erb scored a 20-lap consolation win setting him 20th place starting spot for the feature on Saturday night. With $40,000 on the line, Tyler Erb fell back to a 31st place finish after making hard contact with another competitor on lap 13.

July 16th, 2016 - Erb Gains Seven Spots in CMH Diamond Nationals A-Main
1Piloting the First Class Septic #91 Super Late Model in World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO) action, Tyler Erb headed to Ogilvie Raceway (Ogilvie, Minnesota) on Wednesday night for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Laying down the 15th fastest time in a field of twenty-nine cars, Erb landed a runner-up finish in his heat behind Josh Richards earning him a 3rd place starting spot for the feature. Slipping out of the top five, Tyler notched a 6th place finish in the 50-lap A-Main.

1With two consecutive rain-outs in the WoO series, Tyler made the trip to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Saturday night for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned CMH Diamond Nationals. Transferring the top four out of the heats, Erb edged his way into the main event with a 4th place finish. July 10th, 2016 - Tyler Lands Runner-up Finish in Hell Tour Event at Quincy
1Returning with the Summernationals Hell Tour, Tyler Erb traveled Daugherty Speedway (Boswell, Indiana) on Tuesday night for another $5,000-to-win A-Main. Timing in 2nd fastest in his group behind Gordy Gundaker, Erb placed 2nd in his heat behind Gundaker earning him a 3rd place starting spot for the feature. Suffering a flat-tire on lap 29, Tyler battled back from the tail of a field to a 7th place finish in the 40-lapper.

1On Thursday night Erb invaded the Hawkeye State for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series event at Hamilton County Speedway (Webster City, Iowa). Following the 6th fastest time in a field of twenty-five cars, Tyler edged his way into the $8,000-to-win A-Main with a 6th place finish in his heat. Improving two positions in the 40-lap feature, Tyler Erb registered a 16th place outing.

The next stop for the WoO series on Friday night was Mason City Motor Speedway (Mason City, Iowa) for the $10,000-to-win Wild West Tour event. After laying down the third fastest time in a field twenty-seven cars, Erb placed 2nd in his heat behind Chris Simpson earning him a 5th place starting spot for the main event. Losing one position in the 50-lap affair, Tyler Erb registered a 6th place finish.

Wrapping up the three-day stint with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota), Tyler Erb edged his way into the NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 A-Main with a 4th place outing in his heat. Coming from the 15th place starting spot, Tyler advanced nine positions in the 50-lapper scoring a 6th place finish.

1Headed south on Sunday night, Tyler made the trek to Quincy Raceway (Quincy, Illinois) for the 19th stop of the UMP DIRTcar Summernationals Hell Tour. Posting the 2nd fastest time in a field of nineteen cars, Erb stormed to a heat race win earning him the pole position starting spot for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Swapping back in forth with the red-hot Bobby Pierce for the lead, Tyler Erb landed a runner-up finish behind Pierce with Michael Kloos, Ryan Unzicker, and Dustin Griffin rounding out the top five. July 4th, 2016 - Tyler Erb Posts Impressive 2nd Place Finish in Outlaw Clay Classic
1Competing in the inaugural Outlaw Clay Classic, Tyler Erb visited Rockford Speedway (Rockford, Illinois) on Thursday night for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series event. After posting the 3rd fastest time in his group of seventeen cars, Erb captured a heat race victory setting him up with a 5th place starting spot for the feature. With $10,000 on the line, Tyler jumped up three positions in the main event recording a runner-up finish in the 30-lapper behind Brian Shirley with Shane Clanton, Joey Coulter, and Chub Frank rounding out the top five. 1Making a quick detour, Tyler Erb stopped at Fayette County Speedway (Brownstown, Illinois) on Friday night for the UMP DIRTcar Summernationals event. After posting the second fastest time in his group behind Josh Richards, Erb stormed to heat race win giving him the pole position starting spot for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Slipping out of the top ten, Tyler recorded a 7th place finish in the 50-lapper.

1After the weather cancelled both of the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series events, Tyler returned with the Hell Tour for the 12th stop of the series at La Salle Speedway (La Salle, Illinois) on Monday night. Sending the top five out of the heats, Erb secured his spot into the show with a 5th place finish. Starting in 15th for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Tyler Erb fell two positions logging a 17th place outing.
