April 11th, 2015 - Mixed Results for Tyler Erb in SUPR Weekend Action
1The Erb Racing team resumed competition with the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racing (SUPR) Dirt Late Models over the weekend with a pair of events in Texas and Arkansas.

Action kicked off on Friday night with a $2,000-to-win race at Timberline Speedway (Corley, Texas) as twenty-four entries registered for battle. Tyler won his preliminary heat race after starting third, which locked him into the third starting position for the feature. Erb battled at the front of the pack throughout the course of the main event, and was running third when he suffered a right-rear flat tire. He recovered to a ninth place finish in the final rundown.

Action shifted to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday evening for another $2,000-to-win program that drew a field of twenty-three competitors. Erb once again charged to a heat race win to earn the third starting spot on the feature grid. Unfortunately, mechanical issues on the opening lap forced Tyler to retire to a disappointing seventeenth place finish.

Twenty entries converged on the 3/8-mile oval for Friday night's $1,000-to-win opener, and Tyler drew the third starting spot for his heat race. He went on to finish third, which earned him the ninth position on the feature grid. During the course of the 20-lap main event, Erb worked his way forward to second place finish behind only race winner, Jon Mitchell. Kevin Sitton, Doug Begnaud, and Rob Litton rounded out the top five finishers.

Saturday night's finale posted a $2,000 top prize to competitors, and eighteen entries would return for battle. Erb started and finished second in his heat race, earning him the fourth starting spot on the feature grid. After a fierce battle with Jon Mitchell for the spot, Tyler settled into the runner-up position for the second straight night, capping off a solid weekend on the P&W Sales SUPR tour. Rounding out the top five finishers were Rob Litton, Kevin Sitton, and Ronny Adams.
