October 26th, 2013 - Tyler Erb Battles Mechanical Woes at Boothill
1 After a few weeks away from the track Tyler Erb returned to the cockpit of his #91 First Class Septic/Rocket by Litton/Hwy 105 Machine Shop Super Late Model over the weekend in the $4,000-to-win, Spooky 50 at Chatham Raceway (Chatham, Louisiana). While the majority of the weekend was a dream, the last half of the feature would prove to be a nightmare as bad luck again bit the team.

On Friday night Tyler began preliminary action by racing to a dominating win in his heat race to lock into the dash, which he also won to earn the pole position for the $5,000-to-win finale on Saturday night. As the feature went green Erb jumped to a commanding lead and would hold the top spot until lap 22, when the oberg began leaking oil, which forced him to retire from the event to a disappointing finish.

October 5th, 2013 - Tyler Erb Pulls Double Duty at Greenville Speedway
Tyler Erb had an extremely busy weekend as he entered the 7th Annual Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) in both the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model class and the NeSmith Crate Late Model division.

Thirty-two entries looked to conquer the $7,500-to-win, MSCCS event, and Erb started his weekend by racing to a 4th place finish in his heat race on Friday evening to lock into the 16th starting spot for the 75 lap finale on Saturday night.

Under threatening skies the big finale would be held, and Tyler advanced to a 13th place finish in the final rundown.

NeSmith Late Model Series competition found 34 entries in the pits, and via preliminary action Erb earned the 14th starting spot for the feature. Unfortunately before the 50 lapper could be contested on Saturday evening heavy rain arrived, which forced the event to be postponed until Sunday afternoon. When action resumed Tyler enjoyed a great outing as he advanced to a 9th place finish.
