It was a doubleheader weekend for Tyler Erb as he took his entry into action in events in Texas and Arkansas.

On Friday night a $1,500-to-win, unsanctioned event was held at Mountain Creek Speedway (Grand Prairie, Texas). With twenty-two entries on hand heat race action found him starting fourth before racing to a third place finish. His heat race performance locked him into the ninth starting spot for the feature, and he would go on to advance six spots to finish third in an event won by Morgan Bagley. On Saturday evening the action shifted to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) for a $2,000-to-win, COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model event at the 1/4 mile oval.
